the room was clean and had good storage for my stuff, also the shower had lots of hot water which was nice. breakfast was yummy at the caledonian next door, loads of options and very filling. i liked that it was only a short walk to dumfries which made it easy to explore. the bed was comfy enough to get some good sleep after long days. the staff were friendly n helpfull, definitely welcoming.
the shared bathroom was kinda gross, lights were out and the shelves looked unsafe. also, the key situation on arrival was super annoying, took way too long to get into my room.
